Due to Covid-19 our 2020 camp has been cancelled
Details of our virtual camp coming soon!
Letter from the board
It is with a heavy heart that we write to you concerning the CCMA Rodeo Bible Camp 2020. After much prayer and discussion, the board has unanimously voted that it is in the best interest of all camp attendees and volunteers to cancel this year’s camp due to the Covid-19 crisis. This decision was weighed out heavily amongst all board members but in the end, our top priority is the safety and well-being of everyone at our camp. Additionally, even though there is a possibility that Arizona may be “open” again by the end of May, there are many decisions that need to be made now, and the uncertainty makes camp logistically impossible at this point. Because of this decision, a full refund of your camp fees will be issued back to the card that was used to pay for camp. Please be looking for this refund within the next week. Next year we want to make sure that all campers who signed up for camp will have the opportunity to sign up for our 2021 camp first before we allow any new registrations. We will email you further details about this in January 2021.
Now for the exciting part! We still want to give campers something this year so our team is currently working on a plan to do a 4-day, virtual camp during the original camp dates! Details of the virtual camp are still being hammered out so as soon as we are ready to reveal the full overview we will contact you. Please keep an eye out for more information! We look forward to what God has in store for this year even if it was not what we originally envisioned.
May God bless you in your journey with Christ and stay safe until we meet again next year!
In Truth and Grace,
The CCMA Rodeo Bible Camp Board
Youth will have fun participating in worship, camp fires, games, and much more!
Testimonials from previous campers
I had such a great time at the 1st annual CCMA Rodeo bible camp. I grew so much in my walk with the Lord and with my roping. It was such a great time worshiping and learning about the Lord with kids that wanted to grow in their walks with God and their rodeo skills. The main goal of the instructors and counselors where to help and encourage you to build your walk with the Lord and help you with your skills in the arena. I love that the instructors took time to work with each and every individual kid to help them do the best that they can in both their walk with God and in the arena.
My favorite part of the CCMA Rodeo Bible Camp was singing hymns around the campfire under God’s beautiful creation. The Camp was a blast! It was full of praise and worship, games, good food, sermons and bible studies. I grew so much from the camp and made such great friends. I thank CCMA Rodeo Bible Camp for hosting such a great event. I was able to fix some problems I had when I roped and now know how to prevent them. I love being able to show my friends family and parents what we learned throughout the camp at the rodeo at the end of the camp. I was able to win the heading belt buckle. Thanks to my instructors who helped me with my roping. I am sad that I am too old to participate in the camp in 2018 but I’m happy that’s my siblings will be able to go back and grow in their walk with God and in their Rodeo skills.
At the 2017 rodeo bible camp I met some amazing people with an amazing amount of passion for the Lord. My barrel racing instructor Ms. Janie was absolutely amazing not only did she teach us on and off her own horse she even got on mine for some critiquing! The camp was great I loved the games we did and the campfires we had not only that I loved the worship time we had and the band that played!
My experience at the CCMA Rodeo Bible Camp this year was amazing! It was a great time to worship, rodeo, make new friends and most importantly learn about God in many new ways! Who would have known I would have found God at a rodeo camp surrounded by my peers, and on the back of my horse. I am so thankful and blessed for the saddle I won at the camp it is such a beautiful saddle. I’d have to say though my favorite part about the camp was feeling the Holy Spirit in my heart for the first time. All in all, the camp was a huge success and such a cool event to go to. I can’t wait till this year’s camp!!
